Google Earth offers teachers and students a valuable and convenient tool to access geographic information and current satellite maps in the classroom. Teachers and students can select from a range of views and overlays (e.g., political boundaries, population information, major roadways) to customize their map. Users can also add information ÒtagsÓ to a city or place on the map (e.g., the Roman Colloseum) and create virtual tours and Òflyovers.Ó
